Prompts

Once context leaders set their boundaries and document their sense-making of their environment as beliefs and trade-offs, they will need to start making strategic choices and navigating uncertainty. This is a complex challenge that is highly specific to domain. This taxonomy and playbook introduces the "what" but will not reinvent the "how". For that, context leaders should seek out industry-specific, role-specific thought leadership on strategy that we call prompts. This expert guidance and coaching will prompt the leader to explore uncertainty with specific questions, to drive both individual learning, and specific strategic choices. Prompts are the library of sources on how to define strategy, specific to a context.

Example Syntax:
"In <this quarter>, <Context A> will use a prompt from <expert source/book on strategy> to frame an initial set of questions to explore and navigate uncertainty."
